RC Energy is a joint venture between Rainbow Energy Marketing Corporation and Grupo CLISA. The company was established in 2016 to serve the growing demand for energy in Mexico and Latin America. RC Energy serves as a wholesale supplier of electricity, and offers power asset management services to independent power producers and large industrial and commercial end users.

Grupo CLISA, has developed important projects such as the Nueva Era Pipeline which will transport natural gas from South Texas to Monterrey metropolitan area, and is also the developer of CON-GAS, a 340 MW Combined cycle power plant in Colombia, Nuevo Leon.
